Solar & Energy Projects

A solar array is only as good as the analysis behind it and the process around it. Gridless Global helps you document consumption, goals and constraints, organize and compare the proposals you receive, coordinate communications with installers and the utility, and track permits, budgets, documents and reported milestones through to commissioning and closeout. Technical design, engineering, structural determinations, code compliance and installation are performed by the appropriately licensed solar and electrical contractors and design professionals engaged for the project.

Owner-side project advisory, coordination and administration from planning through closeout. Gridless organizes the people, information, documentation, budgets and decisions, while appropriately licensed contractors and professionals remain responsible for regulated work.

Covered parking that generates power and pairs naturally with EV charging.

04

Shade & yield modelling

Site-specific production modelling so the estimate you receive is one we will stand behind.

Good to know

Common questions

Something not covered here? Ask us directly - we would rather answer it properly than have you guess.

Ask a question
Is my roof suitable?
Orientation, pitch, shading, age and structure all matter. South-facing is ideal but east and west frequently work well, especially with a time-of-use tariff. If the roof has under about ten years of life left, we will recommend replacing it first rather than mounting to it.
What happens on cloudy days or at night?
Output drops but rarely stops in daylight. Overnight you draw from the grid, or from a battery if you have one. Net metering, where available, credits the excess you export during the day against what you pull back later.
How long does installation take?
A typical home is one to three days on site. The longer stretch is permitting and utility interconnection, usually four to twelve weeks depending on your jurisdiction.

How licensed work is handled

Gridless Global provides owner-side advisory, project-administration and coordination services. Gridless does not perform regulated trade or professional work. Construction, installation, engineering and other services requiring licensure are separately performed by appropriately licensed independent professionals responsible for their own work. The scope Gridless can offer varies by jurisdiction.

Next step

Let us start with the numbers

A measured energy analysis tells you which improvements actually pay, and in what order. It is the cheapest thing we do and the most useful place to begin.

  • No-obligation consultation and budget guidance
  • Independent - we answer to you, not to a contractor
  • Incentives handled, permits tracked for you
  • Warranty paperwork collected and registered in your name
