Our commitment
We want this site to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification or reduced-motion settings. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
What we have built in
- A skip link to the main content, and a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
- Full keyboard operation, including the navigation menus, the interactive services map and every form.
- Meaningful alternative text on images, and decorative graphics hidden from assistive technology.
- Semantic headings, landmarks and lists so page structure is navigable.
- Form fields with real labels, inline error messages tied to their field, and errors announced on submission.
- Colour contrast checked against WCAG AA for body and interface text.
- Animation that respects the operating-system "reduce motion" setting, and content that never depends on animation to become visible.
- Frequently asked questions that expand natively, so they work with JavaScript unavailable.
Known limitations
The services map is a detailed illustration. Its clickable regions are exposed as labelled links and are reachable by keyboard, but the artwork itself carries information visually. Every service on the map is also listed as a text card directly beneath it, and in the site navigation, so no content is reachable only through the image.
